YM Careers Job Board Software Review

I have used YM Careers job board software platform for 3 years, I do not recommend for a standalone job board. If you have an association, then this platform may work for you.

What is YM Careers job board software?

YM Careers (YourMembership) is a Job board software designed to help businesses with creating, managing, and growing their job board website.

The things I liked about the software:

1. The layout of website is really nice.
2. You can add jobs to the site with backfill pool.

The Things I did not like about the software:

1. Multiple problems in the site indexing structure.

      2. A low amount of actual jobs get indexed in google/bing/yahoo etc. Also low amount in google for             jobs, example you may have 6000 jobs on the site, only 5-10 will actually appear in google for jobs.

3. Candidates only get job alerts on paid postings, they won’t get notified on backfill jobs.

4. Unable to add paid backfill feeds; Adzuna, Lensa, Appcast, etc.

5. With the basic software, you can not add SEO driving traffic content like blog posts, articles, infographics, videos.

6. You are not able to run ads, such as google adsense, ezoic, mediavine etc.

7. Sales Team assistance resulted in 3 paid job postings a year.

One Time setup fee of $1000

Monthly fee – $200

Revenue share on job postings/products – depends on the agreement,  I heard some people reporting 70/30 percent, others report 80/20 percent.
